Return Policy

Items purchased through www.thepenelopeshoppe.com can be returned within 7 days of receiving your order for store credit only. Penelope Boutique does not issue refunds. Your boutique store credit will not expire.

To return an item, you must first contact Penelope Boutique for return approval. Returns without prior approval will not be accepted. Please allow 24-48 hours for our Customer Service team to respond to your inquiry. Returns are accepted via mail. You are responsible for the shipping costs to return the item.

Return Guidelines:
  • Items must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and undamaged.
  • Notify us of your intent to return the item before shipping it. Unnotified returns will not be approved.
  • Items must be returned in their original packaging with all tags still attached. Packaging may include hangers, plastic wrap, boxes, warranty cards, accessories, and dust bags. Missing or damaged tags/packaging will result in the return being rejected.
Non-returnable Items:

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Sale or discounted merchandise — FINAL SALE
  • Gowns, cocktail dresses & evening attire — FINAL SALE
  • Swimwear & intimates, including bras and bralettes — FINAL SALE
  • Accessories (jewelry, socks, belts, etc.) — FINAL SALE
  • Any item with a broken seal, removed tag, or that has been opened, used, or damaged — FINAL SALE

To initiate a return or exchange, ensure the item is unused and in the same condition you received it. Contact us at penelopeboutique@gmail.com to get return approval. Once approved, we will send you instructions for returning the item.

Important Note: Returns without prior approval will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender.

You will be responsible for the shipping costs when returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Once we receive and process your return, we will notify you via email with the status of your return or store credit.

Shipping Costs

The shipping cost you choose during checkout reflects the estimated delivery time but does not include order fulfillment time. Please allow 1-4 business days for order fulfillment before your order is shipped.

For returns, you will be responsible for the cost of shipping the item back. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Store credit issued will not include the cost of shipping.

International Shipping

Shipping charges for international orders reflect the shipping method chosen and the estimated delivery time, but does not include the time for order fulfillment. Please allow 1-4 business days for fulfillment before your order ships.

Any additional import duties or taxes may apply depending on the destination country. Penelope Boutique is not responsible for international duties. Please contact your shipping carrier for more information.

Shipping Damage

We are not responsible for any damage to items caused by UPS, USPS, or any other delivery service. All orders are shipped with insurance, and we take great care in packaging your items to prevent damage.
